College Lesson Learned #13

#13- Make a list.

This is imperative. This may seem obvious and you guys are thinking, "This guy is an idiot if he's figuring this out now." Well sorry guys. In the past, if I had to go to the grocery store, I went for one or two items or Mom sent me with a list. I'm usually pretty good at remembering things but as you grow older you become wiser. Wisdom takes up so much space that I now have a limited space for remembering things. Seriously, try meeting me and having me remember your name. I suppose that I'm getting off topic.

So there have been a few times when I've gone to the store for about six or seven different items, it isn't that I forget what I need, my issue is that I forget that I need this item. So there are days when I end up making two or three trips to Target or Walmart because I'm silly and didn't write it down in the first place. This applies to homework. I love when I have a syllabus to the class, because I don't have to write the assignments down, because they're already listed! Unfortunately, I lose the syllabus, so it defeats the purpose of having a syllabus in the first place.

Moral: Put it in writing, and don't lose it.
