College Lesson Learned #2

#2- The first few days of college is uneventful. When there's nothing to do, you find something to do to have fun.

Ok, so this is pretty self-explanatory. I work at a pool over the summer and from time to time, when there are no patrons at the pool, we like to have a little bit of fun. This may include playing tic-tac-toe against yourself (I would not recommend this, because the is a chance that you might get kicked off of slides for the rest of the summer) playing violent games of water basketball, and other naughty ways of breaking pool rules. This was where it all started...

At my school, the first few days is full of events that freshmen "must" go to, but there is WAY too much free time for us little freshmen. So we make fun for ourselves. We might sit and talk, we might grab a frisbee or a football and pass that around, or we caused shenanigans. Now our shenanigans were not fully fledged shenanigans, not in the slightest. I couldn't even say they were "intro" or "warm-up" shenanigans, they were warm-up to intro shenanigans. They were as I like to call them, "gateway shenanigans." These led to bigger, better, and more awesome acts of tom fooleries.
